- 1965 January: Founded as a sole proprietorship by Isamu Saratani, specializing in “the design and production of jigs, tools, and dedicated machinery” along with precision machining and the development of innovative manufacturing methods.
- 1997 October: Launched sales of a mass-produced 20cc rotary engine for glow fuel.
- 1999 September: Certified under the Law for the Promotion of Creative Business Activities for Small and Medium Enterprises.
- 2000 April: Leadership transferred to Yuzo Saratani.
- 2000 September: Commissioned by an American university to design and develop an ultra-miniature RotaryEngine (0.137 cc) and successfully achieved self-sustaining operation.
- 2003: Began sales of a 12cc mass-produced rotary engine for glow fuel.
- 2006: Introduced a 20cc gasoline-powered rotary engine to the market.
- 2012 October: Won the Grand Prize in the Higashin Business Awards 2012 hosted by Osaka Higashi Shinkin Bank.
- 2012 October: Approved for the Monodzukuri Subsidy (Manufacturing Innovation Support).
- 2014 December: Relocated from Higashi-Osaka City to Hirakata City.
- 2015 July: Reorganized as NITTO MFG.,LTD.
- 2018 March: Selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as one of the “Top 300 Small and Medium Enterprises Driving Growth” in the demand creation category.
- 2022 October: Successfully operated a hydrogen rotary engine continuously for over 3 hours and 30 minutes.
